I have been skating for over 5 years and spent extended periods of time learning from some of the best in the sport. I also work as a filmmaker full-time, so this work is the coming together of two of my favourite things in the world. The video above is footage from a project for Nike where I DP'd and operated on skates, but it only scratches the surface of what's possible with this technique. Moving at high speeds, weaving in and out of moving subjects, going into tight spaces with both handheld and gimbal set-ups is all totally possible.
